Tom Hanks and Matthew Rhys star in this biographical drama about children´s television presenter Fred Rogers (Hanks). Assigned to write an article about heroes, journalist Lloyd Vogel (Rhys) interviews much-loved broadcaster Fred Rogers, star of ´Mister Rogers´ Neighborhood´. Struggling with problems in his personal life, Lloyd doubts the authenticity of the kindly presenter, but when he seizes the opportunity to get Fred´s opinion on his family issues, he begins to see what everyone else sees in Mister Rogers.
