Pedro Almodóvar writes and directs this drama, his first full-length English-language feature. Ingrid (Julianne Moore) and Martha (Tilda Swinton) were good friends when they worked together many years ago. After falling out of touch, they reconnect when Ingrid learns of Martha´s cancer diagnosis. With Martha approaching her final days, she asks a favour of an unsuspecting Ingrid, a favour which will set the tone of their last days together.
