Benoît Delhomme directs this psychological thriller starring Jessica Chastain and Anne Hathaway. Set in 1960s America, Alice and Céline (Chastain and Hathaway) are two neighbouring suburban housewives and best friends with seemingly perfect lives. One day, however, Céline´s world is turned upside down when she loses her young son in a tragic accident, becoming suspicious of Alice who was the one to witness his death.
The women´s mutual mistrust and mounting tension tears their friendship apart, as they each struggle to separate truth from delusion...
