Life on an island : Here you get to travel to a desert island and build your life from the beginning there. Peaceful and very relaxing!
DIY : Collect different materials on the island and construct things from it. Such as tools and furniture.
NookPhone : On the island you get your very own NookPhone. In it you have some important apps like camera and map. Further into the game, you also get access to more apps.
Nook Miles : If you like to achieve concrete goals, you will be able to do it with "The Nook Mileage Program". By completing specific missions and challenges, you get points that can then be exchanged for different rewards.
Party Play : If you live on an island, you can call up to three other players. Together you can explore the island from one and the same Nintendo Switch.

Become a homeowner : Tents are fun, but maybe you are also thinking of a house? Borrowing money is no problem and there is no deadline when you need to pay it back. Once you have a house, you can start decorating it.
Customization Deluxe : Design your character and make it as personal as possible. You can change skin color, hairstyle, clothes and much more. You can also decorate your house, both inside and out.
The airport : The airport is open 24 hours a day and here you can invite residents from other islands via the internet or locally. You can also travel and visit the islands of others. Up to eight players can be on one and the same island at a time.
Island-wide Broadcasts : Every day, Tom Nook, CEO of Nook Inc., will have a live broadcast where he updates all residents on important events on the island and provides valuable advice.

New inhabitants : When you come to the island for the first time, there will only be a few animal inhabitants there, but as you build the island, more people will visit you and you will be able to invite them to live on the island.
