The book describes the armed Resistance behind the Iron Curtain after the end of the II World War, largely not knowed in the West. It concentrates on Baltic countries (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania), Poland and West-Ukraine, but covers also resistance in other countries behind the Iron Curtain. Described are the life and fight of Forest brothers, also the Soviet counterinsurgency measures. Special attention is given to last forest brothers and also to operations of Western intelligence operations behind the Iron Curtain. The book is illustrated and has 239 pages.
